an introduction workshop to the wonders of
real-time interactivity using
open-source environments like pure-data.

for who ? :

this workshop is aimed at people working
in performance art and interactivity,
no specific computer knowledge is required,
but a real interest in real-time processing
is recommended.
( no cryptic programation skills involved ).

people wanting to make a small prototype
of an interactive project
are the most likely to find some
inspiration in these sessions.

Invasive Graphix
Big sprayers legend and co-organizer of the street art festival NAMES Michal Škapa (Cz) aka Tron will lead a workshop with a presentation, where he will show us the history and roots of street art, how to use many different tools of the street artist, as well as different types of patterns, sprinkling extension pieces, brushes and sprays. Teenagers and families with children appropriated. Pls bring your own sprays.In the process of the workshop, Dj Stevie Weenie a Miki Diskjockey will converse the process of the collective painting to the sound of the space.

Contemporary art will be presented as adventure: interactive, invasive. Art, attracting spectators’ bodies, gives the real physical experience. The visitor will see a exhibition, where videoart is combined with interactive installations, environmental performances and mural painting.

Over three festival days, a few studios of contemporary Czech painters will be open for viewing. The visitor will be welcomed to observe the real artist in his own environment. The process of creation in real life will be highlighted.

The goal of the festival is the transformation of dark memories around the fateful date (21 August) as a celebration of freedom, invasion of creativity to real social life. We’d like to draw attention to the questions connected with freedom, for instance freewill and selection, personal identity, mutual body through gender and modern technologies, hacking and personal safety on the internet, or the ambivalence of social and political roles in our pre-apocalyptic age.
Contemporary art will be presented as adventure: interactive, invasive. Art, attracting spectators’ bodies, gives the real physical experience. The visitor will see a few exhibitions, where videoart is combined with interactive installations, environmental performances and mural paintings. The festival will also include a panel debate about Identity/ Identification, Graffiti workshop, workshop about open-source technologies used in video, presentations of various artists, open studios, multimedia compositions, projections, music, sound, lights, shadows, breakcore, love, fun, dance, joy and more...
